How We Do Sunday Mornings

On Sunday mornings we gather at 10:00am as a church family for corporate worship and to learn more about God from His Word. We seek to worship God with a genuine passion in light of all He's done for us. There is a wonderful unity as we seek to praise God with one voice and to receive instruction from the Bible. We are multi-cultural, multi-generational and seek to genuinely express a love for Jesus.

We worship as a family with our kids (however, children 4 and younger can go to their classrooms during worship) and dismiss our kids to children’s ministry once the music is over. We then make a few brief announcements before hearing the Word of God preached, usually by one of our pastors or a leader in the church.

We know that hearing God's word preached adds to our faith, convinces us of how we need change and strengthens us to live lives that honor God in every area of life. We finish with a time of response which usually takes the form of a worship song and a time of prayer. There's always room for prayer because we believe that God has things he wants to do on a Sunday morning. We end with plenty of time to enjoy one another over coffee and donuts.

Come visit any Sunday.

Children's Ministry

There are several ministries going on during the service on Sundays that serve children from birth through fifth grade. We desire to see people thriving at every age. We are grateful to have dynamic, caring, experienced leadership in our children's ministry.

Nursery

Amanda Van Deursen leads our nursery ministry for babies age 0-2. They take great, personal care over each child so that parents can be released to worship God freely. The nursery is open the entire service and has a designated nursing mom's room.
  • Located in the main hallway near the main entrance and welcome center.
  • We're happy to cater to any special dietary needs that your child may have. Please tell the team when you drop off your child!

2s, 3s, and 4s

Laura Hogan and her team take care of our 2-4 year olds. The children play with some pretty awesome toys, learn Bible stories and do engaging crafts throughout the whole Sunday morning service to introduce them to the love of Jesus at an early age.
  • Located in the north hallway, opposite the bathrooms.
  • We're happy to cater to any special dietary needs that your child may have. Please tell the team when you drop your child off.

Kindergarten & 1st Grade

Our K-1 ministry is also led by Laura Hogan. All children who are 5 years old on or before September 1st are considered to be “kindergarten” age. With an engaging curriculum, they teach and challenge our children with a variety of learning styles to see them grow up strong in the Lord. Our K-1 class is dismissed during the service at the end of worship, except for the first week of the month when they remain with their families for "Family Worship Week."
  • Located next to the north entrance in the main hallway.
  • We're happy to cater to any special dietary needs that your child may have. Please tell the team when you drop your child off.

Promiseland

Promiseland is led by Candace Kosinski and serves our children who are 7 years old on or before September 1st, which is typically grades 2-5. Promiseland starts with a large group component where they engage a biblical topic in an interactive format and then break off into their age-specific small group. Promiseland is committed to showing our children Jesus in a stimulating and encouraging environment.
  • Located in the Fellowship Hall on the north side of the building.
  • We're happy to cater to any special dietary needs that your child may have. Please tell the team when you drop your child off.
